Kayville Area Holy Trinity Russian/Ukranian Orthodox Church
Near the town of Kayville, this church was built by Dumitru Cuciuranu. He built three other Orthodox Churches in the same period, around 1915.
This church is a member of the Romanian Orthodox Missionary Archdiocese of America and Canada. Presently the church is under one board with St. Mary's Orthodox Church. The services alternate with St. Mary's seven times a year. Congregations attend services wherever the priest may be.

Kayville Area St. Mary's Romanian Orthodox Church (Falling Asleep of the Virgin Mary)
In 1915 there was an internal split of membership common among Eastern Orthodoxy in the New World and the dissenting group moved away and built its own church.
St. Mary's was built in 1915 and is located 10 km (6m.) north-west of Kayville on John Ursu's farm. The builder was Dumitru Cuciuranu, who also built the churches of Sts. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church near Kayville; the Ascension of Our Lord Orthodox Church at Elm Spring; and Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, a Russian/Ukrainian Church near Kayville.
The first priest, Rev. Fr. Filaret Gheorghiu, served from 1915 to 1917.
Thirty-seven years later a full basement was added. They had regular services alternating with Sts. Peter & Paul until 1985. In 1997 there were 9 services a year due to financial difficulties, in 2005 only seven. Congregation members attend church wherever there is a priest holding a service

The church was originally built in 1906 on ten acres of land at Dahinda Farm, 6.5 K(4m.) north and 1.5 K(1m.) east of Kayville. In 1947 the building was moved into town.
Between 1908 and 1911 eleven more members joined, having moved to Kayville from North Dakota.
A substantial number of Regina Romanians grew up in the Kayville district. Services alternated between St. Mary's and this church until 1985. Due to financial difficulties there were only 9 services until 1997 and in 2005 only 7. The congregation attends church wherever there is a priest holding a service.
The priests who serve in Kayville also serve in Wood Mountain, Elm Spring and in Marcelin.

Wood Mountain Holy Transfiguration Romanian Orthodox Church before renovations
This Romanian community is 59 K(37 miles) southwest of Assiniboia, the most south westerly of the Romanian settlements in the province. Immigrants settled here in 1906 from Bucovina and Dobruja.
This Church was financed in 1928-29 by Romanian immigrants name Petrescu and Nick Coroliuck and served the local families for many years.
