With help from Carole Lee Boutilier, who edited Alvin's music, the framed notes to the "Whitney Pier Historical Society Jig" now hang on the wall of the museum.

In the fall of 2003 Alvin realized his dream when he played with the Celtic Colours fiddlers during the festival's opening night.
