There many other groups and organizations in the Innisfail community that contributed to the war effort. At every dinner function there was sure to be a guest speaker delivering a speech on patriotism and how each individual could best help out the country in its time of need. Donations of clothing, reading material, and other various items were constantly being requested for the soldiers overseas. Each person in the community was expected to contribute as much as they seemingly could.

The Innisfail community was constantly striving to help the war effort in any way possible, and each person did their best to keep up morale for the Wars. It may have been a hard time for the community, but it was in this time of misery that the best in each person shone through: the generousity of the people of Innisfail was duly impressive.
