Another important campaign in the Innisfail community was the Belgian Relief Fund. Providing aid for the many Belgian people who had been forced out of their homes due to the destructive nature of the war was a cause many, many Innisfailians held close to their hearts.

The Red Cross also did their part in the Innisfail community to help with the war effort. They helped in any way they could, putting on auctions, canvassing, and knitting for soldiers among other things.

Yet another local institution created to help out the nation in times of crisis was the War Service League. It carried out many of the same type of functions as the other organizations previously outlined.

There many other groups and organizations in the Innisfail community that contributed to the war effort. At every dinner function there was sure to be a guest speaker delivering a speech on patriotism and how each individual could best help out the country in its time of need. Donations of clothing, reading material, and other various items were constantly being requested for the soldiers overseas. Each person in the community was expected to contribute as much as they seemingly could.
