"I volunteer over at the school. They have a grandmother's reading program, and I go over once a week and help children who are having problems reading, to give them extra help. That school, how many languages? It's a small school, 300 and some odd children, 26 different languages! This is where their parents can't help them read, so they went through the church to get volunteers, older people, they call it the grandmas - reading grannies, and so we may only spend 15 to 20 minutes with each child, but one of us is going every day and this has helped enormously they say, with the children".
