The Minto, born in 1898, just six years after the start of Nakusp, pioneered the settling of the Arrow Lakes from top to bottom. Growth, depression and two World Wars were all part of an epic story experienced from the bow of this famous ship. For Fred and all who stood on this painted deck while embracing her tall mast, the thrill of the adventure was all part of making a nation. |
