All the work done by the Central Okanagan Heritage Society would not have been possible without the many, many volunteers who have helped out in all sorts of capacities. These community volunteers have come from all walks of life.

The work that they have taken on includes: serving on the COHS Board and/or various COHS committees; helping with all types of celebrations, events and fundraisers; working on the restoration and rehabilitations of the various buildings over the years; creating and maintaining the beautiful gardens; researching and recording local history; and being advocates for heritage in the community.

The survival and success of the Benvoulin Heritage Church and site is a reflection of its people and its community.
