She and her husband Arthur taught marriage courses at Holy Name Church. Whenever a neighbor needed special care or a charity needed workers to canvas the community, she was always there. She continues her partnership with Kirkland Lake by being a resident representative for Teck Pioneer Residence where she resides - a caring woman who still loves and serves her community as best she can.
