Representations: YYZ in the 80s traces the narrative of the return to representation throughout the 1980s at YYZ Artists' Outlet. Several artists employed various iconoclastic tactics to represent politics and the politics of representation. Keeping all this in mind, the legacy of the 80s art practices on contemporary art today is this: the image can stand on its own with no iconoclastic tactics and suspicions.
