Mr. McKinnon was a merchant and had a store in this building and Mrs. McKinnon had the telegraph before the C.P.R came through Priceville, Ontario. The McKinnon's also lived in this building.

The Flesherton Firehall built sometime around 1950, was decommisioned in 1982 when the volunteer fire department relocated to their new building on Durham St, Flesherton. They were very happy to have a new site with flush toilets!
