Alfred Wildeman writes: "I enjoyed riding a bicycle. If the wind was in my face, I would ride the bicycle sitting backwards. A number of us young fellows would ride to Manitou Beach on Sunday. We would have a swim and then ride back. Usually we had only enough money for a swim, but not for food. We had bicycles like the boys have cars now."
