Authored the following books:

Prose Edda, consisting of "Gylfaginning, Skaldskaparmal, & Hattatall " - about mythological gods beginning as human war leaders and kings whose funeral sites develop cults

and

Heimskringla - history of Norwegian kings that begins with the legendary material in Ynglinga saga and moves through to early medieval Scandinavian history.
