In addition to his responsibilities to the Kingsboro congregation, during 1886 Rev. J. A. Gordon began holding worship services in Souris (8 kilometers west of Kingsboro). This relationship continued until 1911 when the few remaining members of the Souris congregation transferred their membership to Kingsboro. The meeting house was sold.The age of a convert was not important. What was important was the relationship a person had with the Lord Jesus Christ. One of the people baptized in 1894 was 80 year old Duncan Stewart who was baptized in the river just below his own farm.
