TRANSCRIPT

We did a lot of glacier skiing and Paul Salva would be out with me touring a lot, but, my other touring partners were Terry Stringer, who became the Canadian downhill champ one year, and the other fellow was Noel Gardner who was the forerunner of snow surveys on Glacier for the highways. So I got quite a bit of skiing in, when I could do it and we did....That's where I started glacier skiing and did a lot of ascents on the Illecillewaet Glacier and the Asulkan Glacier. And then later on with Hans Gmoser on a few trips up the Illecillewaet and the Asulkan.
