A.B. ANDERSON:
Now the Mackenzies, Roderick Mackenzie was my great-grandfather and there's a place called Tete Jaune Cache, that's a headwater to the Fraser River and when he was 17 years old, he stayed there and looked after the supplies, there wasn't a white person within 500 miles, while his cousin Alexander Mackenzie went down to Vancouver and then down the Mackenzie - the river is named after them.
