Heroes

The soldiers fell,

Therefore we dwell,

In pain and sadness,

It all created madness.

They were shot,

The blood drained,

They didn't deserve what they got,

From their veins.

Grenades were launched into the air,

None of this is considered fair.

We all pray,

On Remembrance Day.

Our safety was a must.

We said good-bye as they left on the bus.

Knowing they left me and would possibly die.

We all wave as we cry.
