The first graduation class was Luella Pritchard, Margaret Low, Hazel Grace McLean and Jack Northcott. All three ladies became missionaries to West Africa. Two of them established a work in Upper Volta (Burkina Faso). Eston plays an integral part in this ongoing mission.

I'm Luella Johnston, I live in Regina now but came from the Pangman area. I came to Eston because it was at Trossachs that the Eston Bible school was born. It was about that year that I received my call to the missionary field. It was the place to go and study.

I came in 1944 and graduated in 1947.
