Although FGBI does not have its own gymnasium, Eston's Full Gospel Church and the local Composite School graciously make their facilities available for volleyball and soccer. The fields on and around campus provide space for baseball, football, outdoor soccer, and Ultimate Frisbee.

Students are required to give about five hours of campus service each week. This helps keep costs to a minimum, as well as teaching humility and responsibility. Bubble fights, songfests, and fellowship help keep things fun while students vacuum, peel vegetables, shovel snow, service computers etc.

Community Action Teams (CAT) Day occurs each fall and spring. Students enjoy taking a break to clear debris and clean up the streets and parks of Eston. The community greatly appreciates the work, and students are able to get out and enjoy the weather.

Students often visit seniors at the local lodge. The visiting, friendship, games and entertaining is a lot of fun and greatly appreciated by the residents.

Though winter may seem long, especially to those from Africa and Asia, students do not put their musical talents into hibernation. Musicians and singers perform in Eston and around the world. People in prisons, shelters, soup kitchens, malls, schools, churches and concert halls have heard these student musicians eagerly putting their faith into song.

Every February hundreds of young teens from across Canada descend upon FGBI and town for Senior High Weekend. Activities have been prepared by students weeks in advance. Many of these guests return as full time students.
