The radio show "L'Heure provinciale", broadcast on CKAC starting in 1929 and sponsored by the government of Quebec, offered the general public content prepared by the intelligentsia (thematic lectures and musical creations, including those by Lionel Daunais, who founded the Trio lyrique in 1930).
