Several Families stand out as having more than one member compete in the Olympics, often from different generations. Konnie Johannson from the 1920 Winnipeg Falcons was the grandfather of Liz Appleby Levin, who speedskated at the 1976 Olympics. Doreen McCannell Botterill completed in speedskating in 1964 and 1968, and her sister Donna McCannell Keating followed in 1976. Doreen's daughter Jennifer Botterill competed in Women's Hockey in 1998 and 2002, winning silver and gold respectively. The Ireland brothers, Sean and Michael, each competed in in several Olympics. At the 1994 Olympics in Lillehammer they competed together, and at the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City Sean acted as Michael's coach.
