The delicate nature of lace is reflected in its open form from which it derives its decorative features. The amazing part of this exhibit comes from the number of techniques used to make it and how it continues to be made by Canadians today.
However, even more amazing is one particular lace maker who was creating fine lace in the backwoods near St. Marys in 1843.
