When Canada was called upon to serve King and Country during the World Wars, Transcona answered the call to arms. Transcona made significant contributions to the war effort, both in terms of residents signing up to serve overseas and at home through the production of war supplies. Serving King and Country tells the role of Transcona and its residents in the war effort and how it affected everyone in the community. Serving King and Country is a great addition to supplement Remembrance Day or World War curricula. Learn about the history of World War I & II through the interpretation of the museum's photographs and artifacts.
