Chedderville #3678

The first Chedderville School was one and one-half miles West of what is now Highway 22 North. This school was built in 1917 and later torn down by Jim Kissick. The North Caroline and Dovercourt schools were then moved to the yard of the Dovercourt Hall in 1954.
These two schools served the children that had previously attended Chedderville. The two schools provided for grades one to nine until 1959 when grades seven, eight, and nine were bussed to Caroline. The school closed in 1963. North Caroline school was moved to Leslieville and the Dovercourt School moved to Chuck McArthur's place.
The eighth school built in the Caroline Alberta District.
