L'Institut Familial Val-Marie

From 1950 to 1967, Val-Marie brought together under the same roof an Institut Familial and a Normal School. The Institut Familial was located in the left wing while the right wing was used by the teachers and students of the Normal School. The central wing housed the chapel and the auditorium, two facilities shared by the students of both the Institut Familial and the Normal School. During the course of its activities as Institut Familial, the left wing could accommodate up to 100 young girls annually.
