The School of Specialization in Sewing

The School of Specialization in Sewing began its activities in the Boarding School Notre-Dame du Cap, around 1961-1962, before moving to l'Institut Familial Keranna, in 1962. The School permitted young graduates of the Instituts Familiaux of the province to do an additional year of supplementary and intense study in the branch of haute couture, millenary, knitting, etc. Thanks to this course, the students were able afterwards to teach theorectical and practical courses in the field of specialization. The School of Specialization in Sewing closed its doors in 1972.
