Bentley, Alberta lies like a jewel in the beautiful Blindman Valley, a geographic feature that caught the attention of many of the early pioneers. A spectacular view greets visitors as they enter the town from the east and see the famous "Sunset Hills" in the distance. On a clear day, one can also see the snow capped Rocky Mountains.
Through images, stories, poems and video, this Community Memories exhibit shares the stories of the hardships, joys and difficulties early pioneers in Bentley faced and how they coped with the elements that shaped their way of life.
