The year 2009 marks the centenary of flight in Canada. Although the Silver Dart made its maiden flight in Baddeck, Nova Scotia, the province of New Brunswick has experienced a rich association with aviation during the last century.  From  aeronautical engineers to astronauts, both civilian and military, people from this province have taken to the air and proudly served their country. During wartime airplanes were built here, crews were trained here, and lives were sacrificed.  Through aviation the dreams of some have been achieved, although the dreams of others have been shattered. This collection will provide the viewer with a glimpse into the field of aviation, and how the people, places, and events in New Brunswick were a part of this proud heritage.
