Lanigan was home to two very inventive brothers. George and Allister Ingham illustrated a desire to build things from an early age. In 1943, Allister installed a 1 1/3 hp washer machine engine on his bicycle for traveling to school. I'm sure he was the envy of all his schoolmates.
