All that remains of the Reclamation farmhouse today is a board, a few square nails, and the front door, all of which are part of the Creston Museum's collection.

In 1898, it is believed, another attempt was made to dyke Boundary Creek and the southern end of the Creston flats. Nothing is known about this effort, but, if it did take place, it certainly did not succeed.

Disappointed, George Alexander left the region in 1908. The dream of reclaiming the land was abandoned for the moment.

Reclamation Farm remained, a lasting tribute to the efforts of the Englishman and his company. It would figure prominently in the reclamation schemes of the future.
