Numerous groups and service organizations were established and evolved in Gimli over the years to serve the many needs of the community. Some of these organizations are still actively involved many areas of community life. To name just a few; The Gimli Women's Institute, Gimli Kinsmen, Gimli Kinettes, Lutheran Ladies Aid, Gimli Old-Timers' Association, The Rotary Club of Gimli... and the list goes on.37
