The working group is having a coffee break in the midst of harvesting for the Foodgrains bank. The work is very rewarding as 95% of all grain donated reaches the poor of the world.Since 1983, in 20 years until 2003, 880,000 tonnes of food has been sent to people in need.

The community of Herbert has active Lions, Lionesses, Hospital Auxiliary, Senior Homes Auxiliary and other service organizations. Involvement in helping others is a way of life. |
