CONCERTS INDOORS AND OUT - The renewed interest in traditional music, dance and song is alive and well in the Strait of Canso communities. Children begin at a young age to learn to play the fiddle and piano and stepdancing and highland dancing classes are full. Young and old are happy to have an opportunity to perform at the many community concerts during the year. Young fiddlers and dancers like these continue to perform.
Plan to attend a "Ceilidh" pronounced kay lee, if you come to visit. You'll be glad you did!!!!!
