David White, President of the Trinity Historical Society, Ada Nemec, descendant of the Green family and Dr. Paul O'Neill with the Manning Award that the Society received in March 2004.This award was given to the Society in recognition of the restoration work that they carried out on the Forge and for their work in providing demonstrations in blacksmithing.

The surname of Green no longer exists in Trinity and Mrs. Ada Nemec recently sold the family home that was located behind the forge. She and her husband however still have a home here and spend the summer months in the community. |
