To raise money for the parish, these card games are organized twice a month during the winter season. First, we play cards and then there's a presentation of a play, songs, orchestra music or a cinema showing. At the end of the evening, a lunch is served.
Audio: "They would hold them for the parish, to raise money. People would play cards. They'd play 500. There would almost always be a lunch afterwards. Sometimes, they would ask me to present sketches, some comedy."
Louis Chaperon
