The Riverton Hootenanny performers were invited to put on a performance at the Icelandic Festival in Gimli, Manitoba. The auditorium was filled to capacity.
Fine musicians displayed their special brand of entertainment. The audience, including the President of Iceland, his wife and many other dignitaries, sincerely appreciated the showcase of musical legacy that has been a part of the Riverton area for many years.
