Harris's life was his trip to Ottawa to the1900 plowing match at age twenty-two.<br /> His plow was the Fleury # 53 "Scotch Thistle" walking plow shown in this picture, now an artifact in the Ross winner of the 1896 ploughing match held at the Augustus Brown farm was a trip to the provincial plowing match, October 1900 at the farm of J.R.Booth, next to the Experimental Farm in Ottawa, Ontario,
