The need for the oil families to bond and feel a part of the community has helped establish a strong social network and added to the fabric of the community. Along with the generous support from Imperial Esso and the hard work of community members, a golf course, curling rink/hockey arena and a swimming pool are but a few of the advantages we enjoy today. Could the wee hamlet have ever envisioned the progress and advantages for this community "When Oil Hit Redwater!"
