The short-necked plesiosaur recovered is currently displayed in the museum showing the full complete skeleton of an immature plesiosaur. This specimen represents one of the last swimming plesiosaurs in the Western Interior Seaway 80-90 million years ago.20
The Western Interior Seaway has provided the Pembina Hills with an abundance of fossil marine vertebrates. |
