In 1993, a new sign was erected at the corner of Mount Pleasant St. and Victoria Road directing visitors to the museum.

This photograph, housed at the museum, shows Simon Gillis (on the ladder) adjusting the new Whitney Pier Historical Museum sign, while fellow volunteers Kaz Siepierski (left) and Louis Pratico look on.
