The view as seen from the back of the church building overlooking the Dorchester Marsh. On the left is Shepody Bay. Dorchester Island, where shipbuilding flourished in the late 19th century, is in the middle of this picture. The water on the right and in the distance is the Memramcook River which leads to the Memramcook Valley. On the far side of the Memramcook River is Rockland. It was the location of the Chapman Shipyard
