Some Cavalcaders have never missed a year. Others will be coming this year for the first time. They will be awed by the beauty and grandeur all around them-the tumbling streams of clear mountain water, the carpet of Alpine Blooms in every nook and cranny, the guardian peaks of Mts. Ernie Ross, General Booth, Wilson, Siffleur, and Elliot rising on every side. This is the most beautiful area in the entire Rocky Mountains.
In 1966 Mt. Booth across the river was dedicated to the memory of General William Booth of the Salvation Army. In 1969 the triple peaked mountain to the north of the campground was dedicated to the memory of Rocky's Master Trail Blazer, Mr. Ernest Ross.
