In 1995, BC finished in third place in what was known as the North Division (this was due to U.S. expansion) with a 10-8 record and played Edmonton in the semi-final. Edmonton got the best of BC by a final score of 26-15. The next time BC made the playoffs in this decade was in 1998 and in 1999. Both seasons ended with a defeat in the playoffs by the hands of Edmonton and Calgary respectively.
