The Macnamara Field Naturalists' Club was established in 1984. As the brochure indicates this charitable organization is dedicated to exploring and promoting the appreciation, understanding and preservation of nature in the Ottawa Valley. The club, which was named after Charles Macnamara meets the first Tuesday of the month at the Arnprior Public Library and publishes The Lady's-Slipper newsletter. |
