Farmers, construction, health care and social workers, musicians and artists, librarians, pastors, computer technicians, beauticians, athletes, conservationists, missionaries, youth workers, stewardesses, waiters, secretaries…

Who are these people who come to a small rural Saskatchewan college, far removed from the stress of urban life? They are people of all denominations and backgrounds who come seeking God to deepen their Christian faith. Some are drawn by the intimacy and explosive personal growth possible in a small college. Others are attracted by the theological training. Still others believe that this is where God would have them be.

While learning isn't all fun and games, every fall the school hosts the annual Stubble Bowl. This is a flag football tournament held on a farmer's field. In the fall after the crop has been harvested, stiff wheat stubble, forms a very interesting version of turf. Alumni teams from across Alberta and Saskatchewan, both men and women compete for the Stubble Bowl trophy. The majority of the student body gets in on the action by playing or cheering for the teams.
